So I decided to do SailorJupiter for Halloween because A) I like her, and B) she looks the most like me! I also decided on her Super form cause I wanted the longer bow, Since it is against my idiom to wear any sort of dress or skirt, I bought a pair of swimsuit shorts underneath it, haha.
I’ve got all the fabric so far. Cath and I both are using Butterick 5781 (Ice Skater uniform). I found good green and pink material, and we just bought a white leotard for the white part, instead of trying to MAKE that. I found the perfect gold ribbon to make the tiara, and I bought some of those goofy red jewels for Cath and mine’s tiara jewels.
I also bought some little tiny pink roses at the fabric store… you know, they were supposed to go on shirts or something. I’m going to hot glue them to some clip on earrings so I can have Makoto’s earrings. (I haven’t had pierced ears in ages… and I didn’t think I’d have much luck finding small, pink, clip-on rose earrings!)
I still need her hair ornament thing (gonna buy it all the mall tomorrow) and shoes. Ugh, shoes, that’s gonna be an adventure…
